On the run-up to Christmas, our catering services also offer a deliciously festive menu, so you can enjoy turkey and all the trimmings, mince pies and hot, mulled wine with your guests. We can tailor your catering experience, however, and this includes choosing a different meat if you prefer, your choice of seasonal vegetables and even adding extras like hors-d’oeuvres, starters, and desserts or particular dietary requirements. Whatever the occasion, whether it’s a Christmas office party or an occasion like a birthday or anniversary, we can provide a hog roast Wellingborough to fill you up and make you smile and a professional service that meets your needs.
For Caroline’s 50th birthday party over the weekend, she chose our hog roast Wellingborough rolls to delight her guests with. They’re one of our most popular options and can warm you up outside in the autumn air, although we can cook and serve food indoors if required, depending on the space and ventilation. Caroline’s party was held at her at her parents’ countryside home, in the huge back garden that easily fit the 50-plus guests. A large marquee was erected and the guests were seated inside at proper tables and dined with proper plates and cutlery, but it was still a fairly informal affair. The party was full of friends and family members who had come from far and wide to celebrate Caroline’s milestone birthday – even as far as New Zealand and Japan!
As well as the luscious hog roast Wellingborough buffet, our team also provided the sit-down starter of fresh homemade tomato soup with crusty bread rolls, which was also suitable for the vegetarian guests. The meat-free alternative main course was halloumi skewers, with added cherry tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and courgettes, and these were served at the same time as the rest of the guests queued up for their fill of pigs in buns. We’d cooked a huge beast for this party, and it provided seconds for most people and more for others, and we even carved off a pile of leftovers for Caroline to enjoy later.
All the food went down a treat and we left the partygoers to dance the night away (as well as to dance off their full tummies!)
