At Hog Roast Glastonbury we love love, and we love wedding dining even more which is why this past weekend we were delighted to play a role at the Big Love Wedding Show in Bristol where we were able to meet attendees, talk wedding catering, and even share a couple of free hog roast tasters to the many doting love birds looking for catering at their wedding this year or next.
The Big love Wedding Show was a wedding fayre hosted by our friends over at Love Actually Weddings. Love Actually Weddings are the most established wedding fayre company in the nation. They work to corral the best caterers and wedding services from all around every local area and then throw together these magnificent shows such as the one at Bristol Stadium where their partner vendors can show off their services to wedding goers and allow them to hire all of the services they need for their big day from one place. As a caterer, we at Hog Roast Glastonbury are delighted to be included in such an illustrious list of wedding services and could not have been more excited to set up out of our booth at Bristol Stadium.
The day’s festivities kicked off at 11am and guests all were welcomed with a complimentary bucks fizz to enjoy as they wandered the stadium’s hospitality areas where live music played and vendors showcased their best selves. As a caterer we often find that we have a distinctive advantage when it comes to attracting guests at such events where competition is many. One, because people always want to come and talk about food, but two, because we can actually draw in guests with that food too by having our hog roast on the go and fresh and ready to be served as a taster. It gets the guests in, and it then sells them on the hog roast experience for their wedding dining – a perfect match! Over the course of the day we spoke to hundreds of attendees and were happy to have added quite a few to the Hog Roast Glastonbury calendar for events this year and beyond.
