Four Days of Events For Easter Weekend with Hog Roast Canterbury!

With Easter Weekend you have four days off from work, which to us at Hog Roast Canterbury really means four days to enjoy some great events.

This Easter weekend was an excellent one for our teams. As a caterer, Hog Roast Canterbury stayed well booked up for the special four-day weekend, keeping us nice and busy as we came out to many of your incredible events across each day.

Kicking off our bank holiday celebrations we had a good slate of Good Friday events. It is tradition to eat fish instead of meat on Good Friday, which while that might look like an issue for a predominantly hog roast focused caterer actually ended up being great for a lot of events as we got to try out or fish and chip fryers and produce some Hog Roast Canterburydelicious fish suppers for our customers. Lightly fried in our golden batter, our fish and chips are a lesser seen addition to our menus, but as we have the capabilities to do so because our mini fish and chip cone canapes, we are always more than happy to scale up and make it a regular dish, too.

Come Saturday the events did not slow down. Ahead of Easter Sunday itself, it seemed many of our customers took the opportunity of the extra day of rest to really go all out on the Saturday with their celebrations. We were just happy to make sure everyone still got plenty to eat – although we hope you all saved room for your Easter eggs on Sunday morning, still!

And then came Easter Sunday which saw us cook up more than a few traditional Sunday roast lunches for events. As it is spring and Easter, some of these menus included lamb in them, which is one of the lesser seen roasts but no less brilliant than a beef roast or our usual Hog Roast Canterbury signature.

Monday then saw a few added events as customers took the final opportunity of the bank holiday weekend to enjoy themselves with our catering there to help. We hope you all enjoyed the Easter weekend as much as we did. The next one isn’t too far away with May Day, so we’ll hopefully see you all again soon!
