But don’t let your excitement get ahead of you just yet. Before you even think about planning a barbie or scurrying off to rustle up a delish hog roast, there’s one very important thing you have to do first: make sure your machine is fully serviced!

But beyond looking great, the machine has to obtain an annual safety certificate for it to be considered fit for purpose and legal to use – especially if you are using your machine commercially. This is based on the functionality of the gas parts and ignition system, and it is by far the most important aspect of maintenance, but again, Hog Roast Eastfield has made it as convenient as possible for you.
If you’re coming up for your yearly maintenance check, you have two options. The first being that you can bring your machine to our Lancashire base, where our team will service the machine for you. Or, if you prefer, you can purchase a servicing kit from Hog Roast Eastfield’s online shop and hire a private Gas and LPG safe engineer to carry out the service at a time and place that works best for you. Provided your machine meets all safety requirements, you’ll be able to keep cooking for another 12 months with complete peace of mind.
