Hog Roast Galgate – University Celebrations!

On a cold but still evening in March, the Hog Roast Galgate team was back at one of our favourite venues – a large university – where we had 600 people to serve with a succulent Hog Roast. We served this alongside crispy crackling, our homemade stuffing and some fresh bread rolls. It was the start of a weekend of celebrations to mark the 40th Year of a local College being open. The college had invited all past students to the celebrations so it was quite unique for us to be serving ‘students’ from age of 18 – 60 + years old but they all enjoyed the Hog Roast and as the night wore on everyone retired to the college bar for a drink and to listen to the live band. We packed up our catering equipment, ensured the area was clean and set off home leaving the ‘students’ to enjoy the rest of their evening. Another successful event for the Hog Roast Galgate team.
