With a variety of machines available for hire or purchase, we have recently caught the eye of a budding farmer wishing to start up his own hog roast business within his local town.
With a local farmer purchasing one of our Titan Spit roasting machines with second hand BBQ plates, we were intrigued into the reason for his purchase. When we were informed of his budding entrepreneurial idea, we were both shocked and somewhat respectful of the way in which he had decided to target a very niche market becoming more and more popular.
Hearing how he had been the provider of fresh meats to a hog roasting company, knowing he was not gain the best of shares from the cost of an event, his idea to go solo and offer hog roasting services to people within the local town, being able to ensure a good amount of commission from an event, we saw this as a good way in which a budding farmer was taking the industry to new levels.
With many of our machine purchases being through large companies or restaurants, we were shocked to hear about the farmer’s interest and reasoning during his initial enquiry. When we had heard which machine he was interested in, and his reasoning behind his purchase, we worked to get him the best possible price. With each possible price for the machine being taken into consideration, and the prices we use and outline for other clients we have sold machines to, we were able to settle on a suitable price.
