This Saturday Hog Roast Coventry were catering at a very special event. We have catered many graduations in the past, but never before have we been asked to cater for a meal to celebrate the completion of a PhD! After four long years of data collection, agonizing analysis and the final 30,000 word write up, Seb was finally done with education! To celebrate his PhD supervisor, Ian, was organizing a Hog Roast Coventry meal to celebrate.
The meal was being hosted in university grounds where it all began for Seb. The weather was looking good which made a change, and we were able to set up outside under our trusty gazebo that comes everywhere with us in case of emergencies. For this event we were preparing traditional Hog Roast Coventry rolls. These delicious rolls consist of our succulent slow roasted pork layered on freshly baked rolls and topped with a dollop of sweet applesauce and sprinklings of crispy crackling.
Everyone was in good spirits when we arrived and got the food cooking. Seb came over to thank us for doing the catering and to tell us a little bit about what he had been researching. As skilled as we are at catering, we sadly don’t know anything about graduate level astrophysics, but it all sounded very impressive and we were all in agreement that Seb had achieved a great feat in completing his PhD.
With a toast from supervisor Ian and from Sebs beaming parents, it was time to serve. Our Hog Roast Coventry rolls went down a treat wit Seb joking that he might be tempted to go on to do another PhD if it meant he could have another Hog Roast Coventry meal!
Congratulation once more Seb, you have done everyone so proud!
