The art of hog roasting is a skill that many people feel intimidated by and would never attempt as they feel the process is too complex and involves a lot of hard work, time and effort. However, this simply could not be further from the truth! Hog Roast Yeovil are experts in producing delicious slow roasted food that we cook for several hours, often on site. Although our professional chefs are very skilled in what they do a lot of the hard work is done by the hog roasting machines we utilise to create such amazing food.
One of our Hog Roast Yeovil chefs’ favourites is the Hogmaster machine. This machine is extremely tough and durable and capable of cooking a pig up to seventy kilos so is perfect for large events. Recently, at one such event that Hog Roast Yeovil catered we had an enquiry from Scott who was one of the guests. Scott had always had an interest in cooking and wanted to give hog roasting a try but was unsure of the first place to start. Of course, our team were more than happy to provide some advice and as we make and design all of our hog roast machines ourselves we were able to advise him to hire a machine from Hog Roast Yeovil!
Scott was impressed to hear that we even hire our machines out to the public, never mind sell them so booked in straight away for a tour of our factory. Once here we showed him all of our available machines, but after seeing the Hogmaster doing what it does best at the event he knew this was the machine for him!
After putting in an order to hire the Hogmaster we assured him that he would be in for a treat. Additionally, we, as always, gave some advice about the best way to prepare and roast a hog so that Scott would have all the knowledge he needed to create a perfect Hog Roast Yeovil!
