Waving Goodbye to the Paris Olympics with Hog Roast Sleaford!

Hog Roast SleafordYou wait four years for the Olympics to roll around and just like that they are already over in a flash. For the 16 days of the Paris Olympics, however, we at Hog Roast Sleaford made sure to make the most of them. While not out at events and working in our manufacturing house the games were on nearly constantly as our Hog Roast Sleaford teams became glued to all sorts of sports that we had never once before considered.

When it came time for your events there were fortunately many of them that were actually for the Olympics specifically, so our Hog Roast Sleaford teams didn’t have to miss out on the games for long! Of course, we still had a job to do serving your Olympic events, and we loved doing so as we toasted to each gold, silver, and bronze medal for the UK with another helping of delicious hog roast – the perfect golden-bronze treat worthy of medal champions.

With the UK taking in an impressive final haul to place seventh, we’ll make sure to leave an extra hog roast for all of our champion Olympians returning home. For this past Sunday however we came together with many of you already here at home to enjoy the closing ceremony on tv. We had our special closing ceremony feast of our own ready for many of you, which of course included the champions-elect hog roast, along with grilled burgers, sausages, veg kebab skewers, fries, potato salad, a mix of leaf and mozzarella salads, and roasted veggies and potatoes too – enough food to fuel the entirety of Team GB for the next games!

The closing ceremony was just as good as the first with a wonderful performance by the French and then a showstopping hand off to the LA Olympics beginning with Tom Cruise abseiling, motorbike riding and skydiving all the way back to Hollywood – even taking a stop to grab a Hog Roast Sleaford roast (trust us, we saw it!) – where a further musical performance with the likes of Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Billy Eilish, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers giving us a glimpse of what is took look forward to in another four years.

We’ll keep on training for the next one in 2028 if you join us there too!
